Doug Petersen – President
 
Experienced business executive with over 15 years experience in the airline industry before he founded his own diversified professional services management company which: contracted with municipalities to operate concession stands and offer ice skating lessons in public parks; also provided property management, sales and services.  In addition to his business developments, Doug formed a Little League baseball program, together with major league pitcher Al Leiter, which today has over 500 players active in the league.  Mr. Petersen is also the founder of S.H.A.K.E. (Soccer Helping Achieve Kids Equality), an organization that has soccer players collect used uniforms, cleats and other equipment, clean them up, and ship them to underprivileged children and organizations.  Mr. Petersen has undergraduate degrees from Nassau Community College & Long Island University/C.W. Post. He has graduate studies at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.
 

 

Jo-Ellen Treiber - Executive Vice President

A former student athlete , Ms. Treiber maintained an active interest in sports throughout her business career and philanthropic activities.  Formerly an insurance industry executive, she had responsibilities for the marketing of specialty insurance products, underwriting services and personnel services.  After leaving full- time employment to raise her four sons, she remains active in fund raising, organization management and public relations for several not-for-profit organizations.  She has also been active as a volunteer/coach in Oyster Bay NY. Ms. Treiber has an undergraduate degree from Hofstra University.
 
 
 
 
Paul Shaw - Head Coach
 
Having played professionally for over 20 years, Paul Shaw brings extensive playing and coaching experience to F.C New York. Shaw began his professional career with Arsenal F.C of the English Premier League where he spent six seasons with the club. He played under George Graham, Bruce Rioch, and Arsene Wenger and made thirteen first team appearances. Shaw enjoyed various loan spells with Burnley, Cardiff City & Peterborough United before signing for Millwall in 1997. Shaw spent three very successful years with the club scoring 25 goals in 109 appearances and achieving player of the year in 1998. In 2000 Shaw moved on to Gillingham FC of the English Championship Division and after a scoring record of 26 goals in 125 games was awarded player of the year again in 2003. In 2004 Shaw moved north to join Sheffield United under the leadership of Neil Warnock. Short spells with other English Clubs followed before Shaw decided to try his luck abroad. In 2007 he was given the opportunity to join Hungary’s biggest club Ferencvaros. Shaw captained the Hungarian team which won promotion into the first division by a record 17 points in 2009. Shaw is currently undertaking his UEFA A coaching licence and has been married for ten years to Johanna. He has two boys, Lewis 9, and Harrison 7 and will be relocating to New York. 
 
 
 

 
Javier Cantu 
 
Javier was born in Mexico, raised in Chicago where he learned the beautiful game. When not scouting for players, Javier is assists our international department. He splits his time now between Miami, Chicago and Porto Alegre Brazil.
