Shaw named head coach for 2012 "Taking over when Paul did was difficult, especially since he was a player on the team as well as assistant coach," F.C. New York President Doug Petersen said. "Paul impressed upon us how much he wanted the position and he was worked very hard with members of the area soccer community to be out watching matches or leading clinics."Together with Director of Soccer Carlo Acquista, Shaw has spent the past few weeks doing player evaluations and renewing or releasing players prior to the league deadline.
